Columbia Health District

  • Public Health is a division of the Columbia Health District. The District's mission is to increase health care resources in Columbia County and to provide public health services to citizens in the county. Columbia Health District is a public, tax-exempt, non-profit Special District of Oregon. An elected board governs the CHD providing services through our Public Health Authority. The District initiated the Columbia County Hospital Project, and provides staff resources. 
  • The Columbia Health District received the 2002 Achievement Award for Innovative Program from the Special Districts Association of Oregon for the Hospital Coalition.
  • The CHD Board of Directors serves as the governing board for Public Health. The Board holds monthly meetings that are open to the public. A meeting schedule is available to calling 397-4651.
