• Women expecting babies or who are nursing babies under one year old can receive nutritious food each month through WIC if they qualify by income level and nutritional need
  •  Infants who are breast fed receive cereal and juice at 4-6 months. Bottle-fed infants receive formula during the first year, plus cereal and juice at 4-6 months.
  • Children ages 1-5 receive protein foods and dairy products each month.
  • WIC staff provides group presentations on nutrition and other health and parenting issues as well as individual counseling for WIC clients.
